Programme at a glance
Up to 10 sessions run in parallel in each slot, each in its own online room with its own joining link. Select a session to see its papers.
Sessions by track
Papers are grouped by subject. Where a track has more than one session, the sessions are spread across different slots.
Guidelines for presenting authors
Presentation
- Use the official RICE 2026 presentation template (PPTX). Ten to twelve slides in 16:9 suit ten minutes.
- Slides may be PowerPoint or PDF. You will share your own screen, so keep the file open before the session begins.
- All presentations must be in English.
- The Session Chair will signal the eight-minute mark and close the talk at ten minutes. Please keep strictly to time.
Joining the session
- RICE 2026 is fully online. Rooms in this programme are online rooms, not physical ones.
- Join ten minutes before the session start time, using the joining link given against your session.
- Rename yourself as PaperID – Your Name (for example, 922541 – Rajiv Kumar). Chairs admit participants by this name.
- Keep your camera on during your presentation, and stay for the whole session, not only your own slot.
IEEE presentation requirement
- As required by IEEE, a paper must be presented at the conference by one of its authors to be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. A paper that is not presented (a no-show) will not be submitted, and no refund or claim is admissible.
- The presentation must be live and given by the registered author. Pre-recorded videos and presentation by a person who is not an author are not accepted.
- Present only in your allotted session and time slot. Requests to change a session will be considered only if received by email by 3 November 2026.
Technical arrangements
- Test your audio, video and internet connection well in advance. A headset and a stable connection are recommended.
- A failure of audio, video or internet at the author's end is treated as absence. Keep a co-author on standby where possible.
- If you are disconnected, rejoin at once. The chair will accommodate you at the end of the session if time permits.
- Any problem must be raised by email to riceconvenor@gmail.com during the allotted session, with a screenshot showing the time.
Certificates
- E-certificates are emailed after the presentation, in the name of the registered author who presented.
- Additional certificates for co-authors are issued only if they were selected and paid for at registration.
Conduct and recording
- Participants are expected to follow the IEEE Code of Ethics and to treat every speaker with courtesy.
- Sessions may be recorded for the conference record. Please do not record or circulate another author's presentation.
Guidelines for session chairs
Each session has two chairs. Session Chair 1 conducts the session, keeps time and moderates the discussion. Session Chair 2 manages the online room: admitting participants, links and technical difficulty.
Before and during the session
- Join fifteen minutes early, and admit participants named in the format PaperID – Name.
- Call papers in the order printed. Allow 10 minutes for the talk and 2 for questions, and signal the eight-minute mark.
- Confirm that the presenter is an author of the paper. Do not accept recordings or proxy presenters.
- An absent author's slot is not given to another paper. If time permits, call the absent paper again at the end.
Evaluation sheet
- Complete the session evaluation sheet: attendance (Present / Late / Absent), who presented, and scores out of 10 for technical content, presentation and Q&A.
- Nominate at most one or two outstanding papers for the Best Paper Award.
- Email the completed sheet to riceconvenor@gmail.com within one hour of the session ending, with the subject “Session Sxx evaluation”.
Local times for overseas authors
The conference runs on Indian Standard Time. The table shows when each slot begins in other time zones. Authors for whom the timing is not workable should write to the committee by 3 November 2026.
